Incredible Italian bisque porcelain bust lamp of presumably, Sir Walter Raleigh, the English courtier, navigator and poet, hand painted in soft shades of black, gold and coral with the most sophisticated detailing, including neck ruff, incised eyes and truly lifelike pose.
This remarkable bust sits inside an embossed metal base and is finished on all sides so that it may be positioned however you wish. Professionally restored with all new wiring, socket and black cord for one standard bulb. New pleated black shade, original harp and black ball finial are all included.
